The Foundation and the Association work in collaboration to create safer, healthier, and more affirming spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and communities across Canada.
The Association designs and delivers programs like Rainbow Camp®, Rainbow Online Connection, and community training. The Foundation strengthens and sustains this work by securing charitable funding, supporting long-term growth, and investing in the health and well-being of 2SLGBTQ+ people, especially in rural and Northern communities.
How the Welcome Friend Foundation builds impact
The Foundation exists to build a healthier, more inclusive Canada by supporting other charities as a qualified donee funder, promoting health and well-being for 2SLGBTQ+ youth, and strengthening impact through sustained, strategic support.
